Methods
PAUL’S APPROACH
As a team-player, Paul prides himself on delivering breakthrough websites by working with talented people who like to go the distance. In his digital assignments, Paul is guided by three core principles.
01. UNDERSTANDING THE USER AND THE NEED
Understanding the business goals and the user’s digital journey is essential to website success. Paul takes a researched and rounded view of how clicks and conversions are made via online portals and with his experience in analytics packages, UI research and testing for web, Paul’s projects have been received positively by the marketing teams he has worked for and have resulted in sizeable investment into refreshed websites and upgraded content management systems.
02. ITERATIVE DEVELOPMENT
Paul is a great believer in the iterative development of websites; building and releasing code and functionality at speed (usually in 2 week sprints) so that user and function testing can do its magic. Testing, learning and testing again helps the websites that Paul builds to become user-focused and effortlessly effective to the right people, on the right browser, on the right device.
03. MANY MINDS ARE BETTER THAN ONE
Paul believes in collaborating with and understanding the aims of many people in order to deliver brilliant web. In his previous assignments, Paul has worked alongside marketing managers, has encouraged extensive input from UX designers and application developers in order to generate on-point digital kit that generates customer impact online. The opportunity to work in teams with talented people and to listen to and incorporate a wide range of views from communication professionals, is the fuel to Paul’s digital fire.
